Lasang Pinoy 7: Paksiw at Sinangag

Filed under: *Thoughts*, Fish & Seafoods - lutongdisyerto @ 11:59 am

lutongdisyerto.blogsome.comOne of my favorite almusal specially during rainy days. Paksiw (pickled fish) is best prepared the night before so that the flavor will penetrate the fish and pickled it further. Just re-heat it the next morning and best served with Sinangag (garlic fried rice). Gising na, Almusal na!!!

LP7 round up

lutong disyerto
Ingredients:
1 pc. 250/300 grams fish of your choice (mine is Bisugo)
1 tsp. vegetable oil
5 tbsp. vinegar
1 tbsp. fish sauce (patis)
1 tsp. soy sauce
1 tsp. whole black pepper
1 thumb-size ginger cut into thin slices
1 pc. green chili
1 red onion sliced

-Combine all at once placing the fish over all the other ingredients. Cover and simmer in a medium heat until it is cooked. (approx. 5 mins.)
